DHEA / Pregnenolone Capsule (Immediate Release / Slow Release) (Each)
DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) and Pregnenolone Capsules are dietary supplements that support hormonal balance in the body. DHEA is a precursor hormone that helps the body produce androgens and estrogens, while pregnenolone plays a role in the production of several other hormones, including progesterone and cortisol. These capsules are often used to support energy levels, mood, cognitive function, and overall hormonal health, especially during periods of stress, aging, or hormonal imbalance.
These capsules work by supplying the body with precursors needed to produce important hormones. Together, they may help regulate stress responses, enhance mental clarity, and support immune and reproductive functions by ensuring that the hormonal pathways have the building blocks they need to function properly.
They are also not recommended for individuals with liver disease, adrenal tumors, or those taking certain medications without medical supervision. Always consult a healthcare provider before starting these supplements, especially if you have a history of hormonal disorders or are on other hormone-based treatments.
Some people may experience mild side effects such as acne, headaches, changes in menstrual flow, or mood swings when using DHEA and pregnenolone capsules. High doses or prolonged use could lead to hormone imbalances, increased hair growth, or breast tenderness. If you notice any unusual symptoms or worsening of pre-existing conditions, it’s important to seek medical advice promptly.
These supplements are generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as their effects on fetal development and nursing infants have not been well studied. Hormonal changes caused by DHEA and pregnenolone could potentially impact both the mother and baby. It’s best to consult with a healthcare provider before using these supplements while trying to conceive or during the nursing period.
Store this medication in its original container at 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C) and away from heat, moisture and light. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Throw away any unused medicine after the beyond-use date. Do not flush unused medications or pour down a sink or drain.
