† commercial product

Lisinopril is a medication classified as an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, commonly prescribed to manage high blood pressure and heart failure. It works by blocking the enzyme responsible for converting angiotensin I into angiotensin II—a substance that causes blood vessels to narrow. By preventing this conversion, lisinopril helps relax and widen blood vessels, which leads to a reduction in blood pressure.
In individuals at high cardiovascular risk, lisinopril may also help lower the chances of serious health events, such as heart attacks, strokes, and death from cardiovascular causes.

Store this medication at 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C) and away from heat, moisture and light. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Throw away any unused medicine after the beyond use date. Do not flush unused medications or pour down a sink or drain.
