Chromium picolinate tablets may be used as a dietary supplement to assist with chromium deficiency. Chromium is a trace mineral that may improve insulin sensitivity and may help in the management of insulin resistance by enhancing the action of insulin in the body. Chromium is a trace element that may aid in proper carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism. Some small case studies suggest that deficiencies in chromium may lead to impaired glucose tolerance, glycosuria, and insulin resistance. However, the results are inconclusive.

Store this medication at 68°F to 77°F (20°C – 25°C) and away from heat, moisture and light. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Throw away any unused medicine after the beyond use date. Do not flush unused medications or pour down a sink or drain.
