Ezetimibe Tablet (Each) †

10 mg

† commercial product

Ezetimibe tablets may help lower low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels. They inhibit the absorption of cholesterol from the intestine, lowering the amount that enters the bloodstream.[1]
Ezetimibe tablets may also be prescribed with statins, another class of cholesterol-lowering drugs. This dual approach to managing cholesterol levels may be an option for those who do not achieve optimal results with statin therapy alone.[2]
