Lipo-C Injection (Methionine / Choline Chloride / Carnitine / Dexpanthenol) (30 mL Vial)
Lipo-C Injection is a fat-burning, lipotropic formulation commonly used to support weight loss and enhance metabolism. Lipo-C is often used as part of a medically supervised weight loss program, in combination with proper diet and exercise.
Lipo-C Injection should not be used by individuals who are allergic to any of its components, including vitamin B12, methionine, or other active ingredients. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe liver or kidney disease, and certain metabolic or genetic disorders. Caution should be taken in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as the safety of use has not been fully established in these populations. Additionally, patients with cardiovascular conditions should be monitored, and it is important to note that Lipo-C is not a replacement for a healthy lifestyle, but rather a supplemental aid.
Common reactions include soreness or swelling at the injection site, nausea, upset stomach, headache, or dizziness.
While parenteral choline aids fetal neurodevelopment, the safety of supraphysiologic methyldonor combinations in pregnancy is not backed by strong evidence; hence, professional guidelines advise restricting LipoC Injection to cases in which only under obstetric monitoring and theoretical teratogenic risk is outweighed by a possible maternal benefit.
While neither chemical is known to inhibit lactation, methionine and carnitine are found in breast milk in amounts representative of maternal plasma levels; their concentrated presence Weekly injections’ dosages can change milk flavor or infant intestinal tolerance. Those who are lactating contemplating LipoC Injection should go over risk-benefit issues with a pediatrician and get regular infant growth checks.
