Sildenafil / Tadalafil ODT (Each)

55 mg / 12.5 mg

Prescription formulas that may help erectile dysfunction (ED) include sildenafil and tadalafil ODTs (orally disintegrating tablets). Among the class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors, these drugs might aid to boost penis blood flow during sexual arousal. This drug could enable people to obtain and keep an erection.
Offering comfort for those who find tablets difficult to swallow, ODTs are made to disintegrate quickly on the tongue without water.

Both sildenafil and tadalafil work by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which is responsible for breaking down cyclic GMP (cGMP), a molecule that relaxes smooth muscles and widens blood vessels. By preventing cGMP breakdown, the medication enhances blood flow to the penile tissue, helping to sustain an erection. Tadalafil has a longer duration of action compared to sildenafil, allowing for increased flexibility in timing sexual activity.

This medication should not be used by individuals taking nitrates, as the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. It is also contraindicated in people with severe heart or liver problems, recent stroke, or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Men with anatomical deformities of the penis, such as Peyronie’s disease, or those prone to prolonged erections should avoid using it without medical supervision. Always consult a healthcare provider before starting treatment, especially if you have underlying health conditions.

Sildenafil / Tadalafil ODT may interact with nitrate medications, alpha-blockers, blood pressure medicines, and other drugs that affect heart function. Combining it with certain antifungal or antibiotic treatments can also influence how the body metabolizes the drug. Alcohol should be consumed in moderation, as excessive intake can worsen side effects or reduce effectiveness. Inform your doctor about all prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, and supplements you are using to ensure safety.

Common side effects include headache, facial flushing, nasal congestion, dizziness, and upset stomach. Some users may also experience back pain, muscle aches, or blurred vision. Rare but serious side effects include sudden vision or hearing loss, chest pain, or prolonged erections lasting more than four hours, which require immediate medical attention. Sticking to the prescribed dose minimizes the risk of side effects.

Store this medication at 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C) and away from heat, moisture and light. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Throw away any unused medicine after the beyond use date. Do not flush unused medications or pour down a sink or drain.
